Take a well‑deserved break and join us for a calming, creative Stress‑Release Art Session, specially designed for carers. This gentle workshop offers a peaceful space to unwind, express yourself, and let go of the pressures of day‑to‑day caring.
This session is all about expression, not ability. There’s no right or wrong way to take part, and you don’t need any artistic experience at all. Our team will guide you through simple, relaxing activities using colour, texture and mark‑making to help release tension and support emotional wellbeing.

Carers’ Pamper Morning: Hand Massage & Manicure Session

Thursday 9th April - 10 to 12 - Nourish Support Centre

Take some well‑earned time for yourself and join us for a gentle, uplifting Pamper Morning designed exclusively for carers in our community. This relaxing session offers the perfect chance to unwind, feel cared for, and enjoy simple, restorative treatments in a warm and welcoming space.
This session is all about comfort, connection and feeling looked after. No experience is needed  just come along, slow down, and enjoy being on the receiving end of support for a change.
You’ll have the opportunity to:
       - Enjoy a soothing guided hand massage led by a trained professional
       - Receive and learn about basic manicure care
       - Take time to relax, chat, and recharge in a calm, friendly environment
       - Experience a small but meaningful moment of self‑care
All materials will be provided, and everything is optional you can join in as much or as little as you wish. Treat yourself to two hours of peace, pampering, and gentle TLC you deserve !!

Carers’ Laughter & Lightness Workshop

Join us for a joyful, uplifting workshop designed to help carers let go, lighten up, and reconnect with a sense of playfulness and ease. Led by a professional, this Laughter & Lightness Workshop blends guided laughter exercises, simple breathing techniques, and fun group activities proven to lift mood, reduce stress, and create a sense of connection.
Research shows laughter‑based workshops can:
     - Reduce stress by lowering cortisol levels
     - Boost mood through the release of endorphins, dopamine and serotonin    
     - Create a shared sense of connection and belonging, which is especially valuable for carers who often feel emotionally stretched.

Creative Journaling for Busy Minds

Thursday 4th June - 10 to 12 - Nourish Support Centre

Life as a carer can feel fast, full, and mentally cluttered. Our Creative Journaling for Busy Minds workshop offers a quiet, nurturing space to pause, reflect, and gently organise your thoughts through simple, soothing journaling techniques.
This session is designed to be calm, creative, and grounding perfect for anyone who feels mentally overloaded or rarely finds time for themselves.
Led by a supportive facilitator, you’ll be guided through easy journaling exercises that help you slow down, tune in, and let your mind settle.
This session draws on practices used in wellbeing journaling workshops, including:
   - Gentle guided prompts that help you reflect without pressure ideal for those who “don’t know what to write.”
   - Mindful moments to help quiet a busy mind before writing, supporting calm and clarity.
   - Creative techniques such as doodling, list‑making, collage elements or simple page layouts to spark expression without needing any artistic skill.
   - Easy tools you can keep using at home, helping you build a reflective habit that supports emotional balance and wellbeing. 
   - A safe, non‑judgemental space where you can explore at your own pace journaling is private and there’s no right or wrong way to take part. 
This is a calm, gentle session designed simply to give your mind space to breathe.
