Strengthening Roots - Supported by the Agnes Hunter Trust
Nourish Support Centre is proud to launch Strengthening Roots, Core Support for Inclusive Family Services in Fife, made possible by a generous grant from the Agnes Hunter Trust. This funding enables us to continue and expand our essential services for families, parents, and carers of children and adults with additional support needs.
With this support, we will deliver a wide range of activities, including weekly drop-in advice and support sessions, social clubs, food support programmes, community clothing schemes, and inclusive family events throughout the year. Our dedicated team also provides ongoing advocacy, volunteer mentoring, and training, ensuring that every family receives the guidance and encouragement they need.
Through Strengthening Roots, we aim to
Improve emotional wellbeing and reduce isolation for families and carers
Build confidence and engagement in community activities
Empower volunteers with new skills and a sense of purpose
Ensure earlier access to support, reducing reliance on crisis services
Create safe, inclusive spaces for children and young people
Help families understand their rights and available support pathways
